What is the Gauntlet?
The Gauntlet is a personal self defence weapon which straps onto the back of the wrist.
When the shockstrips are touched by an attacker a high voltage discharge will either compel them to cease the attack or render them incapacitated.
Is there a warranty?
There is a 6 month warranty on the unit from date of purchase covering component failure or manufacturing defect.
The unit will be replaced free of charge.
The warranty is conditional on the unit not having been tampered with:
- no attempt has been made to open or acces the inner workings of the unit
- none of the components have been tampered with or attempted to be altered
- the unit hasn't been used for a purpose other than it was designed for - personal self protection
What colours are available?
Currently the Gauntlets are available in two colours: Black and White
How long must the unit be charged?
Charge the unit for up to five (5) hours when the lights (torch, main switch indicator lights) shine dimly or the shockstrips don't generate a charge whe activated.
Overcharging the battery could damage it.
